Here are some of the most frequently asked
questions…
How long has Grace Albert
Aesthetics been in business?
Grace Albert Aesthetics purchased Adriel
International in June 2008. Company President,
Betsy Patterson, a former Adriel master trainer,
worked closely with Victoria Bush, former owner of
Adriel and author of the best- selling book,
“How to Create the Perfect Brow” to
ensure a smooth transition.
Today, Grace Albert Aesthetic
trainers are committed to excellence by
helping beauty professionals improve their waxing
and brow design skills through our advanced
education classes. With over 100 group and
private training sessions taking place each year,
you are sure to find a quality learning
opportunity that fits your schedule.
What makes Grace Albert
Aesthetics classes unique?
With over 50 years of combined practical
experience, our master trainers have helped to
develop hands-on, advanced training classes that
rival all others on the market today. Our classes
begin with in depth theory, supported by
well-organized class materials, and closely
monitored hands-on experience. Class registration
is kept small in order to offer lots of
personalized attention.
We are known throughout the industry as a company
of “firsts” - the first to offer an
extensive brow design class fexclusively for
beauty professionals; the first to incorporate our
own brow design text book, brow stencils and
brow cream into our curriculum; the first to
offer 3-D Brazilian design instruction and
innovative design stencils, and much, much more.
We were also the first advanced
training company to allow our students to
“audit” a second class if they felt
the need for more instruction and/or additional
hands-on experience.
Who can attend a
class?
Our classes are reserved for Grace Albert
Aesthetics members only. To be a GAA member
you need to be one of the following: a licensed
cosmotologist, esthetician, or medical
professional; permanent make-up technician;
make-up artist; or a student who is currently
enrolled in an accredited beauty school
and has completed at least 2/3rd of their
state-mandated curriculum. All students will
recieve a class Certificate of Completion, and we
remind everyone that they need to
adhere to the education and licensing requirements
in their individual states in order to legally
offer their services for hire. Our 4-hour
classes are not intended to license or legally
certfiy anyone to provide services to the public,
and are only intended to help beauty professionals
to improve their skill set.
How do I register for a
class?
Once you have registered as a Grace Albert
Aesthetics "member" and recieved your
username and password, you can register for a
class on-line or by phone: we accept Visa,
MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Your class registration is not secure until paid
in full, and WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH OR PERSONAL
CHECKS . Please note that we
purposely keep class sizes small (between 6 - 12
persons) in order to offer a quality learning
experience, so classes tend to fill up
quickly.
Do you offer salon/spa
specials for multiple attendees? How about private
training sessions?
We offer private training opportunities for
both groups, as well as one-to-one
instruction. These sessions are customized to fit
client needs. Prices vary, so contact our main
office for quotes and more information.
Are your classes
co-ed?
At this time our Day of Brows, Tip2Toe Body
Waxing and Male Brazilian Waxing classes
are open to both men and women. Our Female
Day of Brazilian class is a female-only class (its
a model issue guys): male beauty professionals
interested in our female brazilian
class are urged to contact the main office for
private training opportunities available in their
area.
What is your class
cancellation policy?
Grace Albert Aesthetics will provide registered
students a full refund upon receipt of written
notice of cancellation, if received a minimum of
10 days prior to beginning of class.
Cancellation requests received after this date
will not be eligible for refunds, but will be
given a credit to use towards any product and/or
services (classes) purchased within the next 12
months. Grace Albert Aesthetics reserves the right
to cancel a class at its sole discretion for any
reason, at any time prior to the start of the
class, and in all such cases will provide students
with a full refund within 7 business days of
cancellation.
Do you provide body waxing
or brow design videos?
Not at this time. We firmly believe that the best
way to learn and become more confident providing
advanced waxing and/or brow design services is to
attend a class. Learning in our classroom
environment allows you the opportunity to
immediately put into use the techniques you have
just learned under the watchful eye of an
instructor. All of our trainers are
high-experienced beauty professionals who know how
to encourage and nuture you along to success.
I am interested in
becoming a Grace Albert Aesthetics master trainer,
how do I begin?
We are frequently looking for qualified
beauty professionals, in specific geographical
areas, to assist us in becoming one of the
nation’s leading advanced esthetics
academies. Please go to the “Trainers”
section of our website and click on “Steps
to Becoming a Master Trainer” for more
detail.
Do you offer discounts on
products purchased in class?
Yes. We offer all students, both in group and
private training sessions, the opportunity to
receive a 10% discount on all Grace Albert
Aesthetics products purchased on the day of
training.
Once I receive my Grace
Albert certificate, can you help me market my
services?
Grace Albert staff members field many calls and
e-mails each month from potential clients looking
for certified Grace Albert professionals working
in their area, and we are only too happy to oblige
them. Once you have attended one of our classes
you are eligible to be listed on our “Find
an Expert” page. Your professional contact
information along with you areas and levels of
expertise will be available to all interested
parties. There is a pne time listing fee of $50
for this service (for the first subject), and $25
for any additional subject listing.
